The attached paper is a survey organised by Yuying Zhao, one of the Rangers who visit Bluett’s Block.
Yuying is keen to find volunteers who have the ability and skills to participate in this research into small mammals during a 4 to 8 week period.
Camera setup at Piney Hill (Bluetts Block) was finished 20 April. The cameras will be there for four weeks (April May) before transferring to Stromlo Forest Park (May June) to continue the survey. It would
be great if you can help with camera checking, camera patrol, and habitat assessment.
Please email Yuying as above or phone Yuying on 0468 614 705 if you are likely to be able to participate.
A meeting to discuss the project will be at 2.30pm on Tuesday 27 April at:
ACT Parks and Conservation Service,
Mitchell Depot
66-68 Grimwade Street
Mitchell 2911
Friends of Bluetts are hoping very much that members of COG will please be able to participate in this very worthwhile activity.
