Just saw them this morning near the Hackett tank at 9.45. 2 birds flew toward Mt Ainslie over the tank. Came out of trees between the fir trail and houses north of the tank. There is a big Yellow Box? In flower near the tank although they didn’t come from
there.

I heard the distinctive call of Swift Parrots and saw 2 small bright green parrots flying off. [at 9am, halfway between the water
tank where they have been seen in previous autumns and the Antill St entrance.] I went home and got binoculars so that I could double check visually, however we couldn’t find them again. Given they are in this area most years at this time, it would be worth
