Azure Kingfisher

I paddled the Queanbeyan River for the first time this morning, upstream from
the bridge, rewarded with the catch (and release) of several Redfin, plus the
sighting of an Azure Kingfisher on the outward journey. It seemed to be
interacting with or perhaps it was being harassed by a willie wagtail as it
moved around from perch to perch and across the river. No sign of it on the
return journey.

A short but excellent paddle which I will be undertaking again in the near
future!
Cheers
Rod
