Hi Jack,
Another one: O’Sullivan Street Higgins. Being fed by Red Wattlebirds. I didn’t get a clear view of the Koel but thought I heard it calling a few days ago. Not sure if they are the same family, but the wattlebirds successfully reared a couple
of chicks a few months back
Unfortunately, it seems the invasion is on in full force this year.
I’ll try to get a photo. Hopefully they will visit the birdbath in the backyard.

Denise, congratulations it is the 150th for this season that has come to my notice.
We’re getting close to double the previous highest count, so if anyone has seen a Koel fledgling and not reported it to me could you please forward the approximate date, suburb (including if possible street as we’re find multiple fledglings
in suburbs), and details of host. Also the length of the tail is very useful to determine how advanced they may be.
Many thanks
Jack Holland
