Passing of Jerry Olsen

I have been waiting for the opportunity to respond in this way to add to what I wrote before. It took over a week. Last night at 7:25 p.m. as I was arriving at a meeting venue I regularly attend, in Chisholm (at the Community Centre). Lots of noise from big flock of Corellas and Galahs had me looking up. A Peregrine Falcon flew over me, I believe my first for this year. Anyway I thought I would mention it as ……… this one for Jerry Olsen.

It is with great sadness that I report the sudden passing of Jerry Olsen last Saturday.

Jerry was a great member and friend of COG, a personal friend to many, .a consummate professional and a passionate birder.
