The location was the Cygnus Hide.

The bird, a male, was perched on the head of one of the two owners who
were taking their pet for a walk in the wilderness.

By chance, a casual acquaintance in said hide had just left. She is
planning a trip to Iron Range. She has a particular ambition to see
Eclectus Parrots.

The Kelly's bird had a leash which, at the bird end, was attached to a
sort of bird body suit.
