Well the forecast was pretty accurate, but a big thank you to those who ventured out, whether it was a quick dash to the local park or a more determined expedition to a reserve.

 

I’ve been trawling through the ebird lists that have been shared with COG Blitz. So far 102 species have been recorded with  probably the highlight the Painted Honeyeater (2 locations) including a breeding record (nest building). Other great breeding records include Speckled Warbler, and Pied Stilt (copulation and nest building), plus some very cute photos of Frogmouth young.

 

Let’s see what tomorrow brings and thank you in advance for all your efforts.
