Well the forecast was pretty accurate, but a big thank you to those who ventured out, whether it was a quick dash to the local park or a more determined expedition to a reserve.
I’ve been trawling through the ebird lists that have been shared with COG Blitz. So far 102 species have been recorded with probably the highlight the Painted Honeyeater (2 locations) including a breeding record (nest building). Other
great breeding records include Speckled Warbler, and Pied Stilt (copulation and nest building), plus some very cute photos of Frogmouth young.
