Hi all,
Here’s a couple of low-res photos (hopefully small enough to get through the filter) if anyone is interested.  Certainly no bands on left leg. I didn’t manage a photo of the right leg, but I didn’t notice anything through my binoculars … though I must confess to not thinking to look for bands.

cheers
Murray

I have been in contact with Dean Ingwersen about the sighting and emails are going his way. It seems the bird has no bands so a wild bird, great news and a great find by Sue.

Just a reminder to all who find the Regent Honeyeater to keep an eye out for any bands/colour bands on the bird and on what leg/s  If it has any bands you can report them to me and I will see that it gets to the people concerned.

Cheers,

Mark
