I believe quite a few people got onto the bird earlier in the day but it proved elusive later. Three of us saw it in flight a couple of times at 1730, it was being harassed by miners and disappeared westwards over suburbia at a rate of knots. There is some nice Yellow Box flowering in the park so it may return.
