On a similar vein, but as an irregular and non-expert contributor, we have been hearing and seeing quite regularly in the past month or so quite a number of corellas near our house, which is in so-called Emu Ridge, not far from the Belconnen
Town Centre. As far as we can recall, these recent occurrences are our first sightings in this part of Canberra in over 35 years of having lived here, our previous nearest sightings having been in the vicinity of the ANU.
Can anyone comment? Or am I just ignorant of others' reports?

3 Straw-necked Ibis on Mt. Rogers, Flynn, at 5 pm today. My first ever sighting of these birds on Mt. Rogers in the 43 years I have lived here. This may be a first ever recording of them here, as I can find no previous record of them having
been sighted on the reserve. Perhaps someone can verify or otherwise.
