I'm always impressed with watching Kestrels and BS Kites hover and
recently posted a slowed down film of a kite doing just that. I recently
tried to capture the true professionals at hovering at work, hoverflies;
found in every back garden at the moment.
The result can be seen here https://vimeo.com/368918588
Watch as it cleans it tucks and tucks them away while hovering and see
how it keeps its head and eyes level while dealing with the ever
changing breeze.
Enjoy, on this windy day
David
