In brisk conditions this morning I looked up to see 11 Black-faced Cuckoo-shrikes flying downriver followed by another seven moving along much higher. Later on, about a dozen Gang Gangs moving downstream creaking away like Frank Sinatra gargling into a brass cuspidor.
