Sure, yes obviously “The bottom bird is in tail moult”. However the other
one isn’t and I think as much as I could tell or had noticed, most or all those I have seen recently have had long tails, visible as either a long point or deep fork, also I had not noticed any wing moult on any (or these photos). That was my point of interest.
Even so was pointed out because Lindsay wrote to me “someone else suggested that the second one was a Needletail”
maybe because of the shape of the tail. but it isn’t.

A highlight of my GBS count this morning was a flock of 15 Fork-tailed Swifts hawking over our patch. Rough phots for ID below.
