No Koels but keeping on the cuckoo theme, I had a lovely look at a pair of Channel-billed Cuckoos down at St George's Basin on Monday 8th October. One was offering the other a fruit of some sort while they did their best to ignore the Peewees
that were hassling them.
I thought it was quite early to see them this far south?
