Hi Mark

A male making the ko-el call has been heard near my home in Deakin on three
occasions up to yesterday - once very close. I missed the sighting on that
occasion but I suspect it may have been in the tree where much social activity
occurred last year.

There have been a few other reports also but I'll let those observers respond.

Good morning all,

I have been away from Canberra for several weeks so may have missed any
messages but has anyone recorded Pacific (Eastern) Koels in Canberra so far
this spring? There has been one calling a long way off from my house in Kaleen
early this morning.

Mark
