Where are the Silver Gulls?

After an initial _expression_ of interest during early-mid August 2018 in breeding on Spinnaker Island the Gulls lost interest and have not been seen around the island since 24 August. They appear to have left the area with very few around Lake Ginninderra or Lake Burley Griffin.

Has anyone seen any large concentration of Gulls recently? I would like to find out whether they have decided to breed locally elsewhere or whether they have left the district.
