A post-modern hollow

The light fitting is mounted on a post which was presumably erected sometime quite recently.  Thus it could obviously be a "post, modern" or, stretching the tolerance of the semantic police. a post-modern.

I can’t see exactly what stage they are at but it appears there is grass and other nesting material in the light; I have seen one bird in the nest and one on top of the post with a large insect in its bill; I have seen both birds in the nest.

 

But I have not seen incubation or feeding activity yet.  So I am not sure if they yet have eggs in the light. I’ll keep watching.
