G’day Lindell, they are in that part of the world a lot at the moment. At least some of them seem to be roosting near Curtin where I live, and I hear their cries pretty much every day around dawn and sunset. On Sunday we watched around
20-30 YTBCs flying north near Scrivener Dam. I presume they are mainly feeding on the pines.

Played golf at Yarralumla yesterday and in the 4 hours I wandered around the 18 holes I was constantly hearing and seeing a flock of 7 Yellow-tailed Black-cockatoos circling around
in the tree tops. I don't think there were any more than the 7 seen. It was such a delight to be entertained for the morning by those fabulous birds.

Small groups of Straw-necked Ibis have been visiting the Holt Oval most every day for the past week
or so. A few days ago I counted a flock of 15.
