David, it is expected that the APVMA will give approval in May sometime but that is so late that the rodent eradication program has again been postponed, this
time until June-July 2019. The problem lies in the fact that the island is populated with humans, not that it should be regarded as part of New Zealand.

matters and the fact you could argue that Lord Howe was geologically more part of NZ than it is Australia. But eh....
