Yes Nick. Similar experience on dog walk yesterday 0715 in semi-darkness, a
noisy elongated aggregation, I thought over 500 birds, overflying Griffith,
roughly. Largest group I've seen. I thought heading from a roosting area
possibly at Black Mountain to feeding grounds at Symonston rural leases.
Another possibility is it was an influx arriving in Canberra for first time
before dispersing.

Subject: Large flock of Corellas
While outside yesterday afternoon (suburb of Griffith) the largest flock of
Corellas that I've seen locally flew overhead. I hauled my phone out of my
pocket and took a few photos. Loading the photo that seemed to capture the
greatest number of bird into Gimp and putting a dot over each bird gives a
flock size of about 550 birds.
