One has just called for several minutes at our house. Of course it stopped calling as soon as I thought of picking up the camera to immortalise it!
Following on from my recent note about the number of species seen in GBS year-to-date this has got my total to 71 for year 37 which is the equal highest of any of the 11 years I have been
surveying here. So despite the very dry Winter and blackened state of the area the birds are doing OK!
