The Powerful Owl in the ANBG is where Martin described, and the whitewash on the ground is indeed very obvious. Just after I found it this afternoon, a group of a dozen or more people arrived to see it, and the owl took a keen interest in all
the activity below it. The dense, dark vegetation makes photography difficult. The clearest view was from directly below the bird.
