Hi All,

A very windy and generally uneventful Mulligan's walk was highlighted by an unexpected sighting of a single Bush Stone-curlew. The bird in question, B0 - Herbie was introduced into the Sanctuary in 2014, but I had never seen him before and I don't believe he has been sighted in recent times. He wasn't in the area where I have regularly been seeing up to 11 birds.

On Wednesday I heard the BSCs calling for the first time this year ...

Herbie's photos are on Flickr. I've also created an Album on my Flickr site of  my Bush Stone-curlew photos and labelled the identified birds.

Cheers
Julie
