Rose-ringed Parakeets are also very numerous in Amsterdam (or at least were when I last passed through that city in about 1998)
Monk Parakeets are very common in New York City and nearby communities. They are a major problem as they built massive nests of dry sticks on power poles and such like. Dry sticks and
electricity = fires.
