I don’t know much about World Big Day and I wasn’t out looking for birds (haven’t done much of that for many months) but I was (sadly slightly outside my GBS area) helping garden work of a local friend. In the vicinity of the Kambah district park and sport ground near Drakeford drive, in late afternoon. Alerted to a big noisy flock of Galahs. Very brief and not close views of on Peregrine Falcon doing stoops at the Galah flock. I was a bit surprised at the stoops being only maybe 20 to 40 metres, not overly fast but distinctive anyway. Something only seen rarely.
