Just when I was about to muse that I'd not heard Koel calls in mid-Flynn for 
about a week there was one call at 09.30 this morning.
Yesterday morning there was what appeared to be a Coot family of 4 birds on 
Fassifern Pond, Dunlop.
They were undeterred by a man fishing 100m to their west.
