The Trucking Yard Lane Dam has been renamed the Trucking Yard Lane Dust Bowl so they won't be there.  I haven't heard any reports from the other water bodies in the area for a couple of weeks.  Checking eBird (always a good idea) for the Bungendore area David McDonald saw several at the Burrows Lane Dam (near the railway crossing) on the 29th.

Martin and others,

Has anyone seen any whistle-ducks around the Bungendore area recently?

Cheers,

I have just been told of 2 Black Kites hunting along the Bungendore - Hoskinstown Rd near Turallo Nature Reserve (about 2 km s of Bungendore).  They seemed to be moving South!
