Folks
A noisy Juvenile eastern Koel was seen between 9 and 10 am this morning in a pin oak at the intersection of Phyllis Ashton Circuit and James Kirk Street, Gungahlin (south shore of Yerrabi Pond) . It was being feed by a pair of busy Red Wattlebirds.
Have some footage which I will review, but conditions were windy.
Youngster possibly a result from the pair of adult birds that were hanging about somewhere in Amaroo on the other side of the lake earlier on in spring.
