Banded chough(?) FW: BIRDS AT CAMPBELL PARK

Dear Julian and Allen, 

I banded that bird! I'm a PhD student at ANU studying white-winged choughs, and the nest in the picture is one of their own nests with a baby chough. Very exciting to see that group has babies already.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Below was sent to me as webmaster. Does anyone know who banded this bird or what species of bird it is (maybe a chough?)? I guess it’s likely to be one of our local researchers.   Or is this something for the ABBBS?

This am I observed a tagged bird invading a Mudlark’s nest at Campbell Park.  The invader was tagged. I therefor submit my photo for the info to a suitable organisation. If not correct, then please forward to the appropriate research organisation.
