I am fairly sure Robert Heinsohn from ANU did a study many years ago at Campbell park on a family of coughs. he banded 12 from memory ( published in Nature magazine ) but that would make this a very old bird. I am sure he would be interested to know . I am not sure if he is still at ANU.

Below was sent to me as webmaster. Does anyone know who banded this bird or what species of bird it is (maybe a chough?)? I guess it’s likely to be one of our local researchers.   Or is this something for the ABBBS?

Cheers

Dear sir/maam,

This am I observed a tagged bird invading a Mudlark’s nest at Campbell Park.  The invader was tagged. I therefor submit my photo for the info to a suitable organisation. If not correct, then please forward to the appropriate research organisation.

Thanks,
