The bird is almost certainly one of Rob Heinson’s White-winged Chough’s. There are quite a few running around Campbell Park with these “readable” bands. I will
pass the image on to the Australian Bird and Bat Banding Schemes.
If people find or photograph birds with any sort of band or colour bands they can always send the details to me and I will pass the details to the ABBBS. The
details that the banding office needs is date, locality and a contact address for the finder. Information on when, where and how “old” the bird is will be sent to the finder.

Subject: [canberrabirds] Banded chough(?) FW: BIRDS AT CAMPBELL PARK
Below was sent to me as webmaster. Does anyone know who banded this bird or what species of bird it is (maybe a chough?)? I guess it’s likely to be one of our
local researchers. Or is this something for the ABBBS?
Cheers
Julian

Subject: BIRDS AT CAMPBELL PARK
Dear sir/maam,
This am I observed a tagged bird invading a Mudlark’s nest at Campbell Park. The invader was tagged. I therefor submit my photo for the info to a suitable organisation. If not correct, then please forward to the appropriate research organisation.
