I see or hear them flying over my Kambah home probably about 30% of days over the last few weeks. This is a recent change. The last time I observed them regularly at home was years ago and during summer months. About a week ago I saw about 6 perching and possibly feeding at the corner of Boddington & O’Halloran. The closest regular venue I know of is the Colquhoun St entrance to Mt Taylor. On Wednesday there were about 6 there. I wonder how long till or if they become regularly abundant.....

There is a colony of no less than 7 rainbow lorikeets in Downer (crossing of Bradfield St and Nicholls St) recently formed.

Cheers
