There has been an interesting discussion on birding-aus today about whether Powls eat carrion. The conclusion is that they don't. (Our specimen wasn't feeding on anything this morning
but sitting up in its usual tree looking Powerful.)
I then read Rosemary's question about whether the 'burbs are inundated with Ravens. The reason
Acton is inundated with Ravens is because they are
feeding on dead carp.
