Yes looks odd. Would it be the same
White-cheeked Honeyeater
as was found there a few months ago. Could it be aggression? I have a similar observation of close beak to beak contact between a Regent Honeyeater & a Red Wattlebird.

Subject: [canberrabirds] White-cheeked Honeyeater
This morning at Jerra wetlands i was watching a New Holland and the White-cheeked Honeyeater hanging around together and at one point it appeared that the New Holland fed the White-cheeked. A bit odd i thought.
