These past few nights we have left windows open allowing us to hear a distant
Boobook owl. Last night around 3.30am the owl sounded close , no more than 200m
but we could still hear the distant Boobook.
Indeed, the calls overlapped. The calling only lasted about 5 minutes in each
case. We live close to the Deakin shops.
