Thank you to Paul and all those involved in the COG Atlas. It has been and remains a wonderful asset to us all and to the wider  community of bird watchers, students and professionals.

Many thanks for your efforts in keeping the life support switched on for so long.  I'm surporised the last rites have been delayed until now.

One question is whether it will be possible in future to access our personal records through this system?  I suspect not, but there have been occasions where I have found it very useful to go back through my submissions for various reasons.

Hello everyone

The COG online data entry system needs some serious maintenance.  Given the age and obsolescence of the application, I cannot see it being repaired. The designer has moved on years ago.

There are only half a dozen users of the system, and most people have moved on to something more modern.

eBird seems the most obvious choice.

Thank you for your patronage.  I am sure the online system has been a most useful tool up until recent years, and I am personally quite proud that our small bird group could introduce such an innovative approach so many years ago.

All the best
