Just now (last few minutes) a
satin bowerbird
singing (well that weird whirring) just outside my window at home. I heard it from inside and went out to look. It is an all blue bird. The first
satin bowerbird
I have had here since mid October and an odd time of year to see all blue bird (or indeed any of them) here.

Also on SBB, I have just had my first ever sighting of a changeling - a green bird becoming a blue bird.
There have been some photos published recently. Very strange looking creature indeed.
