There is a largish flock that roosts in the ANU. At this time of the
year it flies over upper Turner very early every morning, disturbing the
slumbers of the honest burghers (and dishonest burghers, without fear or
favour). Every morning. In the evenings it can be seen generally flying
back to the ANU from the northern approaches. They sometimes spend part
of their time loafing in the trees that line the concrete drain (aka
Sullivan's Creek) in the vicinity of the sports grounds near MacArthur
avenue. I believe there is some sort of resident flock of interbred
Long-billed and Little Corellas in Telopea Park.
