Hi Julian,

There is also quite a large group that hangs around the pedestrian crossing by
Lyneham school on David Street. I don't know if they roost there but they are
definitely always around when I pass at 8am and 6pm. There was also a flock by
Bruce ridge that didn't appreciate the Australia day 9pm fireworks.

Cheers,
Catherine

I was wondering if it is generally accepted there is only one flock of corellas
in Canberra, or several? The flock that used to fly regularly over my part of
Narrabundah was just over 200 at one stage.

Yes indeed. Maybe that is an understatement. I noticed they had come back there
in a big way in the last 2 weeks. Their attendance in that whole area up to and
including the lake has been variable but several times over the last few years
there might easily have been close to 100 Corellas there.

Hello,

A flock of Corellas have taken up residence in some of the trees lining
Anketell St Greenway (outside the Hyperdome).

Anne
