Foxes have, to some extent, replaced humans and dingoes as peak
predators in Australian ecosystems.

I imagine there is some overlap between cats doing the same for quolls.

It reminds me a bit of the old Inuit saying, possibly apocryphal, that
it is the task of wolves to keep the Caribou herds healthy.

If foxes and cats were entirely removed, what then would happen?
