Most recently the ACT Government's Environment and Planning Directorate has accepted advice of its Scientific Committee to re-list the scientific name of the Scarlet Robin as Petroica boodang following the Howard and Moore (2014) Checklist. I understand
this will be implemented at the time of next review of listings under the ACT 's Nature Conservation Act 2014 later this year. This listing under the Act recognises this taxon as a species vulnerable to extinction as a threatened species in the ACT.
The original listing as P. multicolor followed ACT practice at the time as recommended by COG's Checklist of the Birds of the ACT and in published scientific papers eg Rayner et al 2014.

COG’s submission to have the Scarlet Robin listed as a Threatened Species did use the name correct name
P. boodang but for some stupid reason it was not followed by those in the ACT Government. Using Christidis and Boles as their authority shows that they are not keeping up with the times.
