Yesterday as we headed off for an o'night visit to beautiful Wallaga Lake I noticed about 20 Plumed Whistling Ducks on their current haunt of Burrows lane Dam.
This arvo, on the way home from same I stopped and counted them as they sheltered from the wind at the same site (Trucking Yard Lane and Bungendore Meadow dams were close to void of any fowl). The answer was 20.
I know ending with a zero makes the observation suspect as being an estimate, but that is how many I counted.
