this time of year they're often associated with mixed flocks - in the Mugga Lane woodland surveys yesterday morning I got 4 Speckled Warblers associated with Red-browed Finches, Yellow-rumped and Buff-rumped Thornbills on the ground, as well as Scarlet Robins, while Weebills and Grey Fantails moved through same areas higher up in the foliage

The “eyebrow” seems more pronounced than illustrations I have looked at.

 

Also saw (almost stepped on) a Bettong for the second time.
