Hi Robin,

 

No. It is a Speckled Warbler. (A less common species than you thought.) Several differences but one clue is being on the ground.

This small bird was in a small flock in Mulligans this afternoon.  Is it a Striated Thornbill? 

The “eyebrow” seems more pronounced than illustrations I have looked at.

 

Also saw (almost stepped on) a Bettong for the second time.
