Geoffrey
Thank you for resolving the watershed of the Lagoon with Many Names. I am hoping to visit said quagmire with the COGWW group sometime soon(ish).
I am pleased you asked about the mighty Whiskers Creek. Some 2 kms downstream of Chateau Champs de Beurre it submits its torrent to that of the Molonglo and thence, after passing sundry
Water Treatment Plants, to the Murrumbidgee.
I cannot remember whether I have passed on my recent finding that Whiskers Creek is named after the person who originally surveyed the area, several of whose descendants still apparently
reside in beautiful downtown Queanbeyan.
