Fine and I don’t know as I am not there. My concern though is in suggesting “Possible swift parrots” is in eliminating “lorikeets or rosellas or king parrots and superbs” which is fine but not Red-rumped Parrots. Swift Parrots are even smaller than Red-rumped Parrots and very obviously smaller than the others (and yes by “lorikeets” I am only considering Rainbow Lorikeets).

Just saw 3 pairs of parrot like birds high overhead thyme St at Bruce, flying east to west towards Belconnen shops. Couldn't see color well against the light.  Not flying from direction of AIS.

Call very similar to what I recall hearing at Ainslie a few days ago.  Not lorikeets or rosellas or king parrots and not same call as superbs.

Now need to carry binoculars into office with me!  Will keep a lookout for them and post again if I can confirm them.

Ken
