Sz. The road is definitely scenic but i am not too sure how quiet it will be when Brown Mountain is closed. Possibly most people will go further South and take Imlay Rd (which is IMHO certainly the way to go for Mallacoota) so Mt Darragh would not be too busy. I'd allow (at least) a few - Google Maps suggests about 20 - minutes extra compared to Brown Mountain: scenic = twisty! It hits the coast at Pambula. Just after the turn off at Bibbenluke the route passes Black Lake: well worth a pause for huge numbers of coots and sundry other fowl.
