Ian

Were you once the owner of a light brown Akubra?  If so, I picked it up this morning about 10am at the PO site.

If Ian doesn't claim it, any other aspirant owners of fancy headgear may wish to contact me.

I then went to the Sydney Gully in ANBG to see if a second owl was there but no luck.

I was able to show the bird to my long-time expatriate pilot friend and his children who were visiting Canberra from Papua New Guinea. We found a PO feather beneath the tree on the ground. No prey seen.
