Many thanks Christine for the confirmation, including for the lovely photo
of the Masked WS (we also saw both sexes). Hopefully it will entice
subscribers to visit Campbell Park to confirm both continuing presence and
further breeding activity. The species are well known to commence breeding
almost as soon as they arrive and decide to stay in a spot. Lindell has
indicated to me that she witnessed copulation yesterday.
No need to post all sightings on the chat line, though I would certainly
appreciate any significant events such as nest building etc. If they stay
there in the same numbers, they will probably nest anywhere such as on top of
stumps, fence posts etc, often in very open situations.

Park
Hi Jack,
I went there yesterday afternoon, there were still
60+ White-browed Woodswallows, and as you said, with definite courting type
behaviour. Also at least three Masked Woodswallows among the group, I
photographed one male and one female.
Thanks for the info from the mornings
sighting,
Cheers,
Christine.
ps I believe Kim was there this morning, and all
still present.
