Thanks Nicki, very interesting.
Has anyone been to CP late yesterday afternoon or today to see if they were
still there, or perhaps has Nicki has seen them move away. They certainly
were showing no signs of being in a hurry to leave round 11 am yesterday!

A handful of White-browed Woodswallows drifted over Cook-Mt Painter on
Sunday morning in the rain, and then at 3pm a flock of 100+ flew over the
southern edge of Cook in a north-westerly direction.

All still there this morning for the nest workshop, but much more in the
trees, fences and on the ground than yesterday, though on several occasions
a great cloud of them rose into the air. I predict that with the rain they
will now stay and attempt to nest, with courting type behaviour observed on
a number of occasions. There were a handful of masked amongst them, seen in
the air and also while on low perches.

Around 100, around the horse gate and further east over the paddocks around
6 this evening in the drizzle. No Masked WSs I could see.
